What is Calitti Cat Litter?
Calitti is a fairly new brand of cat litter, and they offer a few different types of litter, including non-clumping crystals, various clumping litters, corn litter, and wood fibre litter. The clumping options include lavender scented, unscented, standard, strong, extreme, fresh white, and economy.

Calitti Clumping Cat Litter Review
I tried the Lavender Scented Extreme Clumping Cat Litter, which was the purrfect choice for my multi-cat home. Litter boxes tend to get very smelly, especially when you have more than one cat, so I am always looking for a litter with great odor control. I also look for low-dust formulas, as my kitten Hazel has a respiratory condition that is made worse by dusty litter. My husband also has pretty bad allergies, so he appreciates when there is minimal dust!
Calitti Lavender Scented Extreme Clumping Cat Litter checked all my boxes for a litter. It is made of 100% natural bentonite, so it absorbs fluids and controls odor very well.
Below I’ve detailed all the great features this litter has to offer.
Clumping Ability
Calitti Extreme Clumping Cat Litter does not disappoint when it comes to clumping ability. I have used many litters over the years, and clumping is a key feature of a litter to ensure easy clean-up. Some clay litters don’t clump enough, and others clump so much that they end up adhering to the bottom of the litter box.
Not Calitti litter! Scooping the litter box is so easy when using Calitti, and the clumps leave virtually no residue in the box.
Odor Control
The Calitti Extreme Clumping Cat Litter has a very pleasant lavender scent. The scent is not too strong, so it won’t irritate sensitive noses, but it is still strong enough to conceal odor. The addition of activated charcoal also does a fantastic job at absorbing odors, so your litter box will stay fresh longer.
The first thing I noticed when I poured the litter into my litter box was the scent. I have had litters in the past that had such a strong odor that it instantly made me sneeze when I poured it. I love that the Calitti Extreme Clumping Cat Litter has a light lavender scent that isn’t overpowering.
Low Dust
The most important factor I consider when buying a litter is the amount of dust it produces. Clay litter is naturally dusty, so it’s hard to avoid dust completely, but you don’t want to be inhaling a huge cloud of smoke when you pour or scoop litter.
The Calitti Extreme Clumping Cat Litter has a low-dust formula, so when I poured the litter into the litter box, I noticed just how little dust it produced. It was far less than most of the litters I have used, which is a huge benefit for my kitty with respiratory issues and my allergy-prone husband.
Gentle on Paws
We always want our furry friends to be as comfortable as they can be when using the litter box. That’s why I like to make sure the litter I use has relatively small granulation so it is soft on my babies’ paws.
Calitti’s Extreme Clumping Cat Litter has very fine grains, so it is naturally gentle on my cat’s paws. Luna and Hazel instantly loved the litter and started pawing around in it!
Overall Opinion
Calitti’s Extreme Clumping Cat Litter lived up to its promises, and I will definitely be a returning customer. My cats loved the scent and the soft feel of the litter, and I loved the superior odor control and low-dust formula.
